Dates and times to obtain an ID are posted at the Campus Center information desk. Proof of registration in the form of a tuition receipt or registrar's receipt is required to obtain an ID card. These receipts also will be accepted as NJIT identification until the ID card is issued. Those whose card numbers are not underlined can report to the photo ID office located at 131 Summit St. in order to get a free RFID card replacement. The detailed hardware behind these high-tech additions to campus was customized to fit NJIT’s needs.In order to print, you can either log in with your UCID login and password or swipe your NJIT student identification card using the card reader attached to the printer (this option requires you to activate your card). You must visit the Circulation Desk to pick up the room key and drop off your NJIT ID-card. Your ID will be returned to you when you return the key to the staff at the Circulation Desk upon vacating the group study room.
In addition to obtaining a traditional photo ID card, eligible students, faculty and staff may obtain a mobile credential that can be displayed on their mobile phone (via a free app).
