This means that the NFC chip must be from NXP, which is big news to an NFC nerd like me. Then create a valid pass, with the NFC value in the correct field and get it installed on your mobile device. Once you have that installed, you'll need to setup your NFC reader to read it. The reader and pass will now work .

I hope they fix this. I find out that the NFC reader is still there. If you want to check, open Shortcut app, switch to Automation tab and search for NFC, right here you can scan for the NFC tag. .

I was even able to communicate with german passports, at least to that part where the encryption starts. The ordinary RFID tags you may find on some products or in access-regulated areas can mostly be read but you'll need a lot of code and experience.Information on the Google Nexus 5X's NFC function.
